Indiana University Health System is seeking an Associate Administrator (RN House Supervisor) for IU Health North Hospital in Carmel, Indiana. This overnight role provides administrative and clinical leadership, ensuring safe, high-quality care and optimal patient flow during nights and supplemental shifts.

You will collaborate with nursing leaders, physicians, and support services to address operational and service concerns while upholding regulatory standards and a strong patient experience

Qualifikationen

• BSN or higher is required or equivalent experience.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC required.
• BLS certification through AHA required; other advanced life support may be required per unit.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• House Supervisor or nursing leadership experience preferred.
• ED/ICU/CCU or other high-acuity care experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide hospital-wide leadership and administrative support during nights, weekends, and supplemental shifts.
• Act as on-site administrative representative in the absence of executive, nursing, and department leadership.
• Facilitate patient throughput, bed management, admissions, transfers, and discharges to optimize flow.
• Collaborate with ED, inpatient units, procedural areas, and transfer centers for timely access to care.
• Serve as clinical and operational consultant for emergencies and complex patient care situations.
• Support staffing and resource allocation decisions to ensure safe patient care.
• Coordinate interdepartmental communication and problem resolution while enforcing policies.
• Investigate and communicate operational, patient care, and service concerns; escalate as needed.
• Promote patient safety, quality, accountability, and exceptional service.
• Lead or participate in emergency preparedness and incident command activities.
