Qualifications

• BSN required; RN license in Indiana or NLC.
• BLS certification (AHA) required; other ALS may be required per unit.
• 5-7 years of relevant nursing leadership experience.
• House Supervisor or Nursing Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospital-wide leadership and oversight during nights and supplemental shifts.
• Act as on-site administrative representative in absence of executive nursing leadership.
• Improve patient throughput, bed management, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Collaborate with ED, units, and transfer centers to expedite patient placement.
• Serve as clinical/operational consultant for emergencies and critical incidents.
• Support staffing decisions to ensure safe patient care throughout the organization.
• Coordinate interdepartmental communication and reinforce policies and standards.
• Investigate and communicate operational concerns; escalate as needed.
• Promote patient safety, quality, accountability, and service excellence.
• Lead or participate in emergency preparedness and incident command as required.
