Job summary

Northwestern Medicine seeks a Clinical Nurse for the Med Surg Float Pool on nights. The full-time role offers 36 hrs/wk (0.9 FTE) with an hourly pay of $44.91.

As an RN, you will provide coverage across the organization, coordinate patient care, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes. Requires NLN-accredited nursing education, BSN or higher, Illinois RN license, and certification if eligible.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN accredited school/college of nursing.
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or higher.
• Licensure: Current State of Illinois, Registered Professional Nurse license.
• Nursing specialty certification, if eligible.

Responsibilities

• The RN - Inpatient Float, within the float team, provides coverage throughout the organization as assigned.
• The RN – Inpatient Float, will have weekend and holiday requirements.
• The role of the professional clinical nurse is to provide and coordinate clinically competent, evidence-based care.
• Advocates for patient-centered care, collaborates with the multidisciplinary team, and ensures safety and high-quality care.

Education
