Job summary

Ascension in Mequon, WI is seeking a registered nurse for night shift in the Float Specialty Units. You will deliver high-quality direct nursing care while ensuring patient comfort and clinical excellence throughout interactions.

You’ll manage the patient’s complete care journey, document progress, execute physician and nursing orders, and coordinate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless continuity of care and safe transitions during recovery.

Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer date required.
• RN credentialed from Wisconsin Board of Nursing required.
• ACLS preferred.
• PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality direct nursing care with patient comfort and clinical excellence at the forefront.
• Manage the patient’s complete care journey, documenting progress and executing orders.
• Coordinate care across disciplines, advocating for holistic services and seamless continuity of care.
• Assess ongoing patient needs and adjust treatment plans with the healthcare team to ensure safe recovery.
