Job summary

UHC United Hospital Center seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the night shift in its float pool. The RN will deliver professional nursing care in an inpatient hospital setting, using the nursing process and independent judgment to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications include a current RN license (state or eNLC), BLS certification within 30 days of hire, and at least 1 year of nursing experience. BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN license issued by the state where services will be provided or multi-state license via eNLC.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum 1 year of registered nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Modifies patient plans of care based on data and patient needs.
• Uses evidence-based practice to provide patient care.
• Delegates according to scope of practice.
• Verifies the plan of care with interprofessional colleagues, patient, and caregiver(s).
• Participates in continuing professional development and quality improvement.
