The role supports 90% FTE with day/evening shifts, requires WI RN licensure and ACLS, and prefers a BSN.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred as part of qualifications.
• Six months nursing experience or current participation in UW Health Nurse Residency Program.
• Licensed RN in WI or licensure compacts; ACLS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Float across departments and specialties caring for complex patient populations.
• Provide high-quality evidence-based nursing care with strong assessment and interventions.
• Partner with multidisciplinary teams and delegate tasks as needed.
• Mentor and precept new nurses and students; participate in governance and quality improvement.
