Job summary
SOUTHERN HEALTH PARTNERS INC is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at the Tuscaloosa County Jail in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. This full-time night shift runs 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on a rotating schedule, with 12-hour shifts and a sign-on plus retention bonus available.
You will provide comprehensive nursing care, perform assessments, administer medications, respond to emergencies, document care, educate patients, and work closely with physicians and the correctional health team
Qualifications
- Provide nursing care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting.
- Perform nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Respond to medical emergencies and changes in patient condition.
- Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
- Provide patient education and promote continuity of care.
Responsibilities
