SOUTHERN HEALTH PARTNERS INC. seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for night shifts at the Tuscaloosa County Jail in Alabama.

This is a full-time, 12-hour shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on a rotating schedule, offering stability in a correctional healthcare setting. You will perform nursing assessments, administer medications, coordinate with physicians, maintain accurate medical records, and support patient education while ensuring confidentiality and teamwork with correctional staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in a correctional healthcare setting
• Perform nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Respond to medical emergencies and changes in patient condition
• Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
• Provide patient education and promote continuity of care
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare and correctional teams
• Maintain professionalism and patient confidentiality at all times
