Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL seeks a House Supervisor RN to drive nursing operations during night shifts (7:00pm – 7:30am, 12-hour shifts) in a per diem role. The nurse will lead administrative functions, supervise staff, and ensure efficient patient flow across the hospital.

Qualifications include an active RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, plus 3+ years acute care nursing and 1 year supervisory experience preferred. BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• One (1) year prior experience as a Supervisor preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years acute care nursing experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the management of all department service functions on shift.
• Make rounds to monitor delivery of care and direct patient care activities as needed.
• Directly supervise, support, and communicate with staff across the hospital.
• Extend administrative scope in the absence of Hospital Admin to all services.
• Ensure efficient operations and patient flow throughout the hospital.
• Assist with scheduling after hour procedures and standby staff.
• Enhance patient/family experience through explanations of hospital policies.
