Job summary

Proforma Health Inc. is seeking a registered nurse to join a 43-bed Med/Surg unit on a full-time night shift. You will deliver direct patient care, assess and plan nursing interventions, and educate patients and families on illness management and post-treatment care.

You will promote patient safety, participate in quality activities, and develop individualized care plans with the healthcare team. RN license is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred with at least 2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• RN license is required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred with 2+ years of experience.
• No supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care by assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care.
• Promote patient and family-centered care.
• Educate on illness management, post-treatment care and medication administration.
• Ensure patient safety and participate in quality and regulatory activities.
• Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients.
