Job summary

Minimum qualifications include Massachusetts RN licensure and current BLS certification; a BSN is preferred for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN licensure is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Department-specific certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care to patients and families.
• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care.
• Uses nursing judgment to individualize plans of care.
• Documents and communicates patient status and care plans.
• Participates in discharge planning and education.
