Job summary

3M HEALTHCARE in Lowell, MA is seeking an RN II to provide direct nursing care in the Short Stay Unit on the Main Campus. The role is full-time, night shift, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, 36 hours per week, on site.

The RN II will perform assessments, develop and evaluate individualized plans of care, and educate patients and families, while participating in performance improvement and department committees. Massachusetts RN licensure and BLS are required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN Licensure is required.
• 12 months to <3 years of RN experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Department-specific certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate clinical assessments and document findings.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Delegate and manage patient assignments based on team skills.
• Provide education to patients and families; document per standards.
• Support discharge planning with community resources.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and committees.
