Job summary

Riverside Health in Newport News, VA is hiring experienced Registered Nurses for part-time night shifts (7pm–7am) with a competitive hourly range of $36.50 to $50.23 and sign-on bonuses up to $7,000 for eligible experienced RNs and up to $6,000 for new grads.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate total patient care under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and Director, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high‑quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia or compact state on hire
• CPR/BLS certification required on hire
• Weekend shifts and irregular shifts may be required

Responsibilities

• Assess patient clinical and psychosocial needs
• Develop and implement a plan of care
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team for care
• Ensure safe patient transitions and throughput
• Maintain accurate clinical and quality documentation
• Delegate and prioritize tasks to ensure quality care
