Job summary

Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for full-time night shift 7pm-7am. Candidates with 2 years of RN experience may qualify for a $7,000 bonus; new graduate RNs are eligible for a $6,000 bonus.

The RN collaborates with the Nurse Manager and Director to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate total nursing care, delivering individualized patient education and ensuring safe transitions.

Qualifications

• Assess patient clinical and psychosocial needs and develop a care plan.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Document and communicate care plans per RHS standards.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient clinical and psychosocial needs and applies standards of practice.
• Partners with patients and families to develop, implement and evaluate a plan of care.
• Delivers patient education and coordinates discharge planning.
