Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the night shift at the Council Bluffs location. You will provide high-quality nursing care, conduct assessments, create and adjust care plans, and collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include ongoing patient evaluation, education, and safe medication administration. A BSN is preferred and RN licensure is required.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• RN license required.
• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provides age-appropriate nursing care and education according to population-specific criteria.
• Performs initial and ongoing nursing assessments to determine care needs.
• Develops and revises individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and other clinicians.
• Implements interventions per the care plan with safe nursing practice.
• Evaluates patient response and communicates changes during handoffs (SBAR).
• Maintains professional behavior and participates in performance improvement activities.
• Includes risk assessment and infection control in daily practice.
• Performs technical skills competently and maintains equipment and supplies per policy.
