Job summary

Signature HealthCARE of Kinston, NC is hiring a full-time RN for night shift with a $5 night differential and a new wage increase. We welcome seasoned RNs as well as new graduates to join a supportive team dedicated to high-quality, person-centered care.

You will deliver direct nursing care, supervise aides, update care plans, and document accurately in the EHR while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. We offer comprehensive benefits, a sign-on bonus, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience; long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and skilled nursing procedures.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and ensure comfort, dignity, and safety at all times.
• Supervise and direct nursing assistants and medication aides during the assigned shift in accordance with facility policies and regulations.
• Monitor and observe residents' physical and emotional status; notify physician and responsible party of changes.
• Develop, implement, and review individualized resident care plans with interdisciplinary team.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation per facility policy and procedure.
• Coordinate resident admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and regulatory surveys.
