Responsibilities

• Supervise the care/services provided by Certified Nursing Assistants and other staff.
• Coordinate nursing care of residents on the unit.
• Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions to residents.
• Transcribe and coordinate physician orders accurately.
• Perform nursing assessments and notify physicians of changes in status.
• Develop and implement patient care plans.
• Select and institute appropriate nursing interventions.
• Contribute to resident’s assessment and care plan development.
