Patient Population: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit caring for infants 22 weeks gestation and up.
Patient Ratios: 1:2 or 1:3 depending on acuity.
Number of Beds: 13.
Department Specifics: Level III Designated NICU, over 95% BSN, 34% Specialty Certified, 200+ admissions annually, active Unit Practice Council.

As part of the hospital's long-term plans, additional floors may be added to increase the bed count to 400 as community growth warrants.
