Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. is seeking an RN for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in Providence, RI. This contract role runs Mon-Fri, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM (3 shifts of 12 hours), totaling 36 hours per week with EPIC EMR throughout patient care.

Required RN license, BLS, and NRP; flu and COVID-19 vaccines are mandatory. Prior NICU Level II/III experience preferred; strong family education and care planning skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (RI or compact).
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• NRP certification required.
• STABLE certification preferred (if unit requires).
• Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine required with no exemptions.

Responsibilities

• Provide round-the-clock care for premature and severely ill newborns.
• Attend to basic infant needs (feeding, diaper changes).
• Operate and adjust specialized NICU equipment.
• Form nursing plans and evaluate treatment effectiveness.
• Support and educate parents/family on at-home newborn care.

Job Summary

• Provide round-the-clock care to premature and severely ill newborn infants

Experience

• Minimum 1-2 years of recent NICU experience (Level II/III — confirm which applies to this unit)
• Vent/high-acuity neonate experience - preferred
