Job summary

Endeavor Health offers an RN New Graduate Residency Program across Edward, Elmhurst, Evanston, Glenbrook, Highland Park, Northwest Community, Skokie, and Swedish hospitals. The March 15, 2027 cohort provides structured orientation, classroom education, simulation, mentorship, and evidence-based practice to new graduates transitioning to professional nursing.

Eligible candidates should have a BSN preferred (or ADN with BSN plan) and must obtain or hold an active Illinois RN license with CPR/BLS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher preferred.
• ADN-prepared nurses may be considered based on hospital-specific requirements.
• ADN-prepared nurses must obtain a BSN within five years of starting the RN position.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, professional nursing care in accordance with state law and hospital policies.
• Participate in clinical orientation, classroom education, simulation, and group discussions.
• Develop bedside skills through supervised practice and experiential learning.
• Use EHRs and clinical equipment appropriately.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and respond effectively.
• Move from task-based learning toward critical thinking and clinical judgment.
