Edward Elmhurst Health offers RN New Graduate Residency Programs across multiple hospital locations in Illinois, starting March 15, 2027. The program provides clinical orientation, classroom education, simulation, mentorship, peer support, and a focus on evidence‑based practice and quality improvement.

Participants rotate through units such as Cardiac Telemetry, Medical Oncology, Pulmonary, Orthopedics, and Critical Care, with full‑time or extended full‑time schedules and rotating

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher preferred.
• ADN/Associate Degree may be considered based on hospital requirements.
• RN licensure in Illinois or eligibility to obtain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, professional nursing care per state act and hospital policies.
• Participate in clinical orientation, classroom sessions, simulations, and reflective learning.
• Progress from basic tasks to critical thinking and clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with interprofessional team to ensure safe, timely care.
