Arkansas Children's is seeking an experienced RN to join the Nurse Resource Pool. The role supports patient care across shifts with emphasis on safety and high-quality nursing practices.

The Nurse Resource Team coordinates staffing, delivers bedside care, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This full-time position requires an Associate's degree in nursing, RN license, and readiness to work in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• AC Model of Patient and Family-Centered care familiarity (novice)
• Safe and effective nursing care at novice level
• Basic patient assessment and developmentally appropriate care
• Use patient information to identify needs and outcomes
• Provide patient/family education at novice level
• Apply evidence-based nursing practice
• Support AC Professional Practice Model
• Participate in interdisciplinary decision making
• Identify improvements in patient care and nursing practice
• Advocate for patients and families
• Participate in councils, committees, and hospital initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates novice-level understanding and application of the AC Model of Patient and Family-Centered care.
• Provides safe and effective nursing care at a novice level per policies and standards.
• Assesses patients and provides developmentally appropriate and culturally sensitive care.
• Uses patient information to identify needs and plan care with the team.
• Educates patients and families at novice levels and supports learning needs.
• Implements evidence-based nursing practices aligned with patient preferences.
• Supports the AC Professional Practice Model and engages in continuous development.
• Participates in interdisciplinary shared decision making.
• Identifies opportunities to improve care and equipment.
• Maintains accountability for quality of care and advocacy.
• Contributes to councils and hospital initiatives; may assist with community health activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
