Job summary

Arkansas Children’s Hospital is seeking a dedicated RN II to join the Nurse Resource Pool. The role requires autonomy in providing safe, family-centered nursing care across shifts, with opportunities to work in multiple units as needed.

The RN will rely on clinical judgment to manage routine and complex situations while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Required ADN, Arkansas (or compact) RN license, and at least 1 year of nursing experience; a Bachelor's in Nursing is recommended for

Qualifications

• Requires Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• RN license in Arkansas or compact state.
• 1 year of nursing experience required; bachelor's degree preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, patient- and family-centered nursing care.
• Demonstrate clinical judgment and critical thinking in routine and unexpected situations.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and participate in rounds.
• Mentor and coach staff within the nurse resource pool.
