Job summary

Endeavor Health in Chicago, IL is seeking a dedicated RN for our 5E Neuro/Stroke/Tele unit on days. This full-time role (36 hrs/week) requires day shifts (7a-7:30p) with every other weekend and rotating holidays.

You will deliver high-quality nursing care, document thoroughly, and guide junior staff while maintaining safety and compliance. A one-year nursing background and Illinois licensure are preferred, ACLS/PALS/NRP may be needed within six months.

Qualifications

Prefer at least one year of experience as a staff nurse.
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Current Illinois Nursing licensure
ACLS, PALS, NRP may be required within six months depending on the unit requirements

Responsibilities

Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the delivery of nursing care to patients and their families.
Maintains competency reflective of current standards practice.
Guides and supervises staff in the provision of patient care.
Promotes safety measures to prevent patient and staff injuries.
Documentation is thoroughly and timely completed.
May float to other inpatient units as needed.
