Job summary

Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL seeks an RN for the Neurology Unit (Days). This full-time role includes a 36-hour week, hours 7:00am–7:30pm, and every other weekend. Comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities define our team-friendly culture.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Illinois nursing license.
• Current CPR certification (American Heart Association).
• ACLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and collect health data from patient, family and other providers.
• Coordinate care plan to ensure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families and staff in person, by phone and in writing.
• Educate patients and families based on assessed learning needs.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice.
• Maintain knowledge of current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.
