Job summary

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital is seeking a skilled registered nurse for a Neuro/Stroke unit in Park Ridge, IL. The role features day shifts, a 36-hour workweek, rotating weekends and holidays, and three 12-hour shifts per week.

Responsibilities include coordinating patient care, using evidence-based practice, and maintaining high safety and quality standards across the care continuum.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (American Heart Association).
• NIHSS and/or SCRN certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using nursing process to ensure safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead communication and decision-making to create a safe patient environment and positive patient experience across the continuum.
