Job summary

Endeavor Health in Glenview is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Stroke Telemetry unit at Glenbrook Hospital. This full-time role (32 hours) includes a day shift 7am-3:30am with rotating weekends.

You will provide safe, compassionate nursing care, apply the nursing process, supervise unlicensed assistive personnel, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes. IL RN license, BSN preferred, BLS required; CNA experience considered.

Qualifications

• Current IL nursing license required.
• NLN-accredited nursing program graduate; BSN strongly preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification for Healthcare Provider required.
• Experience in nursing on a unit or CNA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience.
