Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Euclid Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Med/Surg and Stroke Unit on nights, delivering compassionate care on a 20-bed unit, a Primary Stroke Center. The role requires direct nursing care, coordination, and patient education.

You will monitor patients, administer medications, document findings, and participate in care-plan updates. Minimum ADN/BSN, RN license, BLS, and one year of acute care experience are required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN).
• Current state RN license.
• One year of acute care RN experience or military RN experience.
• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
