Job summary

Cleveland Clinic in Mayfield Heights, OH is seeking an RN in the Neuro/Stroke unit to provide compassionate, direct nursing care to patients with neurological conditions. You will work in a supportive team and participate in care planning, documentation, and patient education.

The role offers day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with every other weekend and holiday rotation, and a pay range of $33.50 to $53.60 per hour.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• One year of current acute care RN experience or military RN experience.
• Current state licensure as an RN; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
