Henry Ford Health is seeking a registered nurse to provide leadership and coordinate care on a 30-bed neuro unit. The role requires night shift coverage (7:00 pm to 7:30 am) with an alternating weekend schedule. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and teach patients and families.
Qualified candidates have RN licensure in Michigan, BSN preferred, and BCLS certification. ACLS/NIH certifications are common on this unit.

Status : 24 hours per week - 12 hour day shift; 7:00 pm to 7:30 am with alternating weekend schedule
Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

30 bed unit specializing in neuro patients. Some of the patient population consisting of stoke/stroke-like symptoms, seizure, brain bleeds, and other neuro type diagnosis. In addition, will see small number of cardiac patients with a couple cardiac drips that are not titrated, and any other patient’s needed placement. All RNs ACLS and NIH certified.
