Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital in Cleveland, OH, seeks an RN to join the 4 Main Neuroscience Unit, a Magnet Hospital recognized for nursing excellence. The role supports direct patient care, patient families, and staff, with a one-year Nurse Residency track and extensive learning opportunities. This night-shift role runs 7:00 p.m.

to 7:30 a.m. with every other weekend and holiday rotations. Minimum qualifications include ADN/BSN, RN licensure, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Participate in residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care (acuity of need, patient preference and resource availability).
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate action to correct, reduce or prevent risk.
• Seek supervision, consultation and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
• Document in patients’ medical records
