Description:We are seeking experienced nurses.Candidates must have a current state nursing license, NIHSS, and CPR/BLS certification.Travel nurses will be required to float to multiple inpatient units, including Medical, Surgical/Pediatrics, Orthopedics/Client, and Sub-Acute Units.This position will require every other weekend and holiday coverage.Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, and standards of care.Documents according to standards of care.Develops, initiates, and executes a patient plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient, as prescribed by the physician and/or hospital policy, including patient and family instruction.Participates in department or unit performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance.Utilizes clinical expertise to guide other units/departments in support of the patient's longitudinal plan of care.Utilizes critical thinking regarding patient safety and experience, and appropriately escalates concerns to the chain of command.Holiday coverage is required.
