Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a travel RN specialized in Med/Surg for a 13-week assignment in the Denver area. The unit is a high-energy Medical Acute Care setting with 26 beds, staffed by a Charge Nurse, 4 RNs, and 3 Patient Care Technicians on day shift.

Shifts are 7:00–19:00 with 12-hour days, and experience with Meditech EMR, various drips, and postoperative cardiac procedures is valued. Active RN license and BLS are required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Med/Surg patient care on a 26-bed unit.

Description:This position is for a travel RN specializing in Med/Surg/Ortho.The unit is a Medical Acute Care setting.It has a total of 26 beds available.Staffing includes a Charge Nurse, 4 RNs, and 3 Patient Care Technicians on the day shift.The night shift consists of a Charge Nurse, 4 RNs, and 2 Patient Care Technicians.Patient ratios are typically 6:1.Equipment includes Baxter IV pumps and SCD machines.The electronic medical record system used is Meditech.Candidates with experience in medical patients and various drips, such as heparin, will be prioritized.Post-operative radial cardiac catheterization experience is also valued.The ideal candidate will be a hard worker with a fun personality and high energy.Patient care experience is a priority.This is a high-energy unit looking forward to welcoming new teammates.
