Cynet Health is seeking an RN with Med/Surg expertise for a 13-week travel contract on a night shift. The unit supports telemetry, COPD, CHF, diabetes care and general medical/surgical telemetry with a patient census around 8. Floating may be required and local travel experience is preferred.
Active NC or Compact RN license required, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications, and a minimum of 2 years of experience. DNR and time-off requests are governed by unit policy.

Description:Locals approved at travel rate.Requests for time off after booking are not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite.Any call-offs or additional requests for time off could possibly result in a cancellation.DNR required for skills/certifications.Target patient ratios: 1:5 to 1:6.36 hours can be offered.Will accept 13-week contracts.All time-off requests will be reviewed by the unit to determine accommodation.On-call requirement may exist if there is a low census day; this rarely occurs.Floating may be required as needed.Weekend requirement: every third weekend, totaling 8 shifts for 13-week contracts.Typical patient diagnoses include COPD, CHF, Diabetes, infectious diseases, rehab, and general medical/surgical telemetry.Average daily census is 8 with a total of 12 beds.Unit systems include manual dispense carts and paper documentation.Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics.Interdisciplinary support consists of physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, and pharmacy.A variety of special procedures and unit details may be carried out.All candidates must be open to floating within/near the facility as per job description.References can be pending at the time of submission.Pre-start modules are non-billable and should be completed before starting and annually.Candidates are expected to conduct online training using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge as their browser.
