Aufgaben

• Care for adults in Neuro ICU, including ventilated patients.
• Duties may include floating to ICU, IMC, or telemetry units as needed.
• Interpret dysrhythmias and manage complex neuro conditions.
• Administer blood products and manage central line care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team (PT, respiratory, social services, pharmacy).
• Knowledge of CVA/acute stroke management and ICP monitoring.

Description:The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Neuro ICU.Shift is 3x12 hour nights from 19:00 to 07:00.Two years of experience is preferred.Travel experience is preferred.Must have current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.Experience in caring for ventilated patients and blood product administration is required.Familiarity with central line care and management is necessary.Knowledge in CVA/acute stroke management and external ventricular drains is essential.Experience with hypothermia protocols and intracranial pressure monitoring is required.Candidates should be able to interpret dysrhythmias and manage spinal cord injuries.Experience in post-craniotomy and post-neurosurgery management is needed.Duties may include floating to ICU, IMC, or telemetry units as needed.The unit provides care for adults with a daily census of 14 patients.Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy.Patient diagnoses will vary and special procedures will be conducted within the unit.Compliance with onboarding and training requirements is expected.All requested time off must be provided at the time of application.
