  • Experience in telemetry and stepdown/PCU settings preferred.
  • Ability to float between units and respond to rapid responses.

Responsibilities

  • Manage cardiac drips with careful titration per protocol.
  • Administer oxygen and monitor patient respiratory status.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (PT, RT) for patient care.
  • Provide rapid response support and stroke/neurosurgical patient care.
  • Adhere to patient ratios and maintain telemetry integrity while on shift.

Description:Seeking a Neuro Tele RN for a dynamic Progressive Care Unit.1 year of experience is acceptable for first-time travelers.Position requires floating between units.Weekend shifts are required, with 6 weekend shifts scheduled every 6 weeks.Expected patient ratios are 1:4.Ideal candidates will have patient care experience, preferably in a short-term acute care setting.Responsibilities include management of cardiac drips without titration, oxygen administration, and using rapid response teams.Nursing personnel are required to wear solid navy blue scrubs or uniforms.Teamwork and collaboration with interdisciplinary support, including physical therapy and respiratory services, are essential.Additional functions include utilizing electronic health records and managing various patient diagnoses, including strokes and neurosurgical patients.A fast-paced working environment is anticipated.All applicants must have recent charge experience and be comfortable with patient ratios described.This role will enhance the care of patients suffering from various neurological conditions.
