RWJBarnabas Health's Newark Beth Israel Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Neonatal ICU. This night shift role offers exposure to a high-acuity NICU and opportunities for professional growth within a supportive team.

You will perform full patient assessments, administer evidence-based care, document in EPIC, and collaborate with physicians during rounds. NJ RN license, BLS/NRP/STABLE, BSN preferred, and weekend rotation required.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required or in active process.
• Experience in neonatal intensive care strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and detect clinical changes early.
• Administer medications and therapies per evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced practitioners for care decisions.
• Educate patients and families to ensure understanding and engagement.
• Document accurately in EMR to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in rounds and multidisciplinary care planning.

To be considered for this RN opportunity, you must hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing and a current American Heart Association BLS Certification, NRP Certification and S.T.A.B.L.E Certification. A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is strongly preferred, as is prior or current patient care experience in an acute care setting, strong critical care assessment skills, along with comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC. In this role, you will work 7p-7:30a and every other weekend and rotating holidays. The work week is 36 hours per week.
