Job summary

TriState Health seeks an on-site Registered Nurse to provide float coverage across multiple clinics in Washington and Idaho. You will assess patients’ physical, psychosocial, and behavioral health needs under physician direction, advocate for patients, and administer prescribed medications including IV therapy in the office.

Clear licensing in Idaho and/or Washington, BLS/CPR certification, and prior clinic experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• RN with active nursing license (Idaho and/or Washington)
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Experience in clinical office or ambulatory care preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical, psychosocial and behavioral health needs under physician direction.
• Advocate for patient and coordinate care.
• Administer prescribed medications, including IV therapy in the office.
• Prepare exam, procedure and infusion rooms and assist providers.
• Document in the EMR according to policy.

Job description

This position provides vital float coverage to our multiple clinics and may travel between Washington and Idaho.

Eligible for $2.50/hr Float Differential premium pay!

Job Summary:

Performs various patient care activities and related services in caring for the needs and comfort of patients under the direction of the physician or midlevel provider. RN duties include (but not limited to) assessing patients physical, psychosocial and behavior health needs; advocating for patient; administering prescribed medications, including IV therapy in office (Rheumatology); preparing exam room, procedure room, infusion room equipment and assisting providers; documenting in the EMR according to TSH policy and procedures. Each position has specific requirements with unique duties and responsibilities. This position may require travel between TriState locations in Lewiston and Clarkston.

Education and Training:

• Associate's degree or Bachelors in nursing, required.

Licensures/Certifications:

• Idaho and Washington State RN licenses or Multi-State license, required.
• Current American Heart Association's BLS/CPR certification card on hire or within orientation period.

Experience:

• Previous clinic experience, preferred

Skills and Abilities:

• Familiarity with medical terminology and experience with office assessments, required.
• Computer skills and EMR experience.
