Cynet Health is seeking an RN - PACU in Oregon for a 13-week night shift assignment. The nurse will work in a surgical unit and may float to recovery and short stay as needed. Requirements include an active nursing license, ACLS, BLS, and PALS, with at least 2 years of experience.

Description:The nurse will be responsible for providing care in a surgical unit.Candidate must float between various areas as needed including recovery and short stay units.On-call requirement does not apply.Support staff includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams.Daily patient census is approximately 12 patients.Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.Required skills include management of BiPAP/CPAP, blood product administration, and IV insulin protocols.Candidates must demonstrate the ability to start and maintain intravenous lines.Knowledge of special equipment such as in-room lifts is necessary.Candidates must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to patient care.Pediatric experience is a mandatory requirement for this position.Candidates should have a comprehensive understanding of surgical procedures and post-operative care.
