Cynet Health is seeking an experienced Med Surg Telemetry RN for a 13-week assignment on our unit serving adult and geriatric patients. The unit provides telemetry monitoring, acute care, and complex cardiac cases in a teaching hospital setting.

Responsibilities include 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratios (1:3 for higher acuity), floating to other units as needed, EHR documentation, and coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team.

Competenze

• Active RN license.
• BLS and ACLS required (ACLS training or rhythm interpretation).
• Minimum 2 years of RN Med Surg Telemetry experience.
• Ability to work night shift (12-hour shifts).
• Strong skills in EKG/cardiac monitoring, respiratory assessment, and medication titration.

Mansioni

• Float to other units as needed.

Description:This position is for a Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse.The unit primarily serves adult and geriatric patients.The facility is a teaching hospital with 111 beds.Services include emergency care, family medicine, orthopedic procedures, and more.The nurse will work in a dynamic environment with a patient ratio of 1:4, with accommodations of 1:3 for higher acuity.The nurse will be required to float to other units as needed.Two weekend shifts are required within a two-week pay period.The equipment used includes EHR software for documentation.Common diagnoses treated on this unit include alcohol detoxification, post-percutaneous coronary interventions, diabetic ketoacidosis, and cardiac conditions.A strong understanding of respiratory management and cardiac care is essential.
