Job summary

Description:This position is for a Registered Nurse in a medical surgical unit.The role involves working night shifts, specifically three 12-hour shifts per week.The unit accepts first-time travelers and requires weekend availability every other weekend.The nurse will provide care for patients experiencing a range of medical conditions, including stroke/TIA, UTI, sepsis, and pneumonia.Familiarity with isolation precautions and personal protective equipment is necessary.The position requires knowledge and skills in rapid response/code team procedures, peripheral line care/management, non-invasive airway management, and oxygen administration.The nurse will care for a diverse population, including patients from assisted living and nursing care facilities.Proper scrubs must be worn, specifically navy top and bottom.Local candidates residing within a 50-mile radius are not eligible for this position.The orientation will include essential training and modules required for onboarding.
