Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Med Surg Telemetry in Tuscaloosa, AL. This 13-week contract requires a 12-hour shift (07:00–19:00) with a patient load of 1:5 or 1:6 and potential float to other units.

Minimum 1 year of recent specialty experience, 18 months total nursing experience, Associate degree in nursing, and BLS certification are required. ACLS preferred. EMR is Meditech.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent experience in Med Surg Telemetry.
• Active RN license in the state or compact license (no temporary licenses accepted).
• AHA BLS or Red Cross certification required.

Responsibilities

• Float to other units as needed.
• Holidays and every other weekend required.
• Full-time options of 36 or 48 hours per week.
• Patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5 or 1:6.
• EMR used is Meditech.
• Direct patient care with a strong commitment to teamwork.
