Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week Medical/Surgical assignment in Northampton, MA. The RN will work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) and deliver nursing care to a patient group under established standards.

Applicants must hold an RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications. Orthopedic surgical care experience is strongly preferred to support a busy Joint Center environment.

Description:The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation.The Registered Nurse directs and coordinates all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards.The nurse collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.The Joint Center/Medical-Surgical Nurse is responsible for the coordination of care for a group of patients.Direct patient care and supervision of the LPN and nonprofessional personnel are essential duties of this role.The nurse is responsible for all aspects of care.This position reports to the Nurse Manager/Director and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
