Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an RN with a Medical-Surgical specialty for a 13-week travel assignment. The role is day shift with 12-hour shifts, and the unit may float to Emergency as needed. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience, a state or multistate license, and required certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC).

A travel background is preferred. Shifts run 6 AM to 6 PM with a nursing ratio around 1:3 to 5:1 depending on patient needs.

Qualifications

• RN with Medical-Surgical specialty.
• Travel nursing experience preferred; open to first-time travelers.
• State or multistate license required; BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Work across Emergency and Medical-Surgical units as needed.
• Typically 6 AM to 6 PM shifts; 12-hour shifts.
• Maintain nursing ratios around 1:3 to 5:1 depending on patient needs.
• Utilize Athena EMR for documentation.
• Support staff includes 2 nurses, 1 aide, and 1 secretary on the floor.

Description:Unit may float to the emergency room as needed.Immediate backfill is needed.Shifts will be from 6 AM to 6 PM.Expected to work in both emergency and medical surgical areas based on patient needs.The nursing ratio at most will be 5:1 but usually stays around 1:3.The unit utilizes licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants.Support staff includes 2 nurses, 1 aide, and 1 secretary on the floor.Covid vaccine exemptions are accepted; flu vaccine is not required.The electronic medical record system used is Athena.There are no specific scrub color requirements.
