Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Med/Surg on a 13-week assignment in Colorado. The role requires 1+ years of RN experience, a current RN license, and BLS certification.

Shifts are night, 12 hours. The nurse will perform independent and delegated nursing functions, document care, and participate in health teaching and patient education. May float as needed and be on-call.

Qualifications

• Must have current RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• 1+ years RN experience in Med/Surg.
• Night shift with 12-hour blocks.
• 13-week assignment in Colorado.

Responsibilities

Description:Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards.Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care.Evaluates health status through ongoing collection and assessment of health data.Performs health teaching and health counseling.Provides therapy and treatment that is supportive and restorative to life and well-being either directly to the patient or indirectly through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching of others.Executes delegated medical functions.Refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment.Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans.Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.Uses resources as needed.Promotes mission, vision, and values while abiding by service behavior standards.Performs other duties as assigned.May be required to float to other departments based on business need.May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
