Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Float for an 18-week night assignment in Fayetteville, GA. You’ll cover Medical-Surgical units with float duties, including ER hold and patient turnover, working 12-hour nights.

Candidates must have a valid RN license, minimum 2 years’ experience, BLS and NIHSS certifications, and experience with Epic. Charge experience and 4–5 patient ratios are highly valued; local candidates welcomed.

Qualifications

• Charge nurse experience and float/ratio management preferred.
• Epic charting knowledge or experience preferred.

Description:Unit details include ER Hold - Medical Surgical Float.Weekend shifts are required every other week.There is no call required for this position.Floating will occur within facility and scope of practice as needed.Candidates will undergo a clinical screening to determine fit.If candidates pass the clinical screening and meet guidelines, they will be reviewed by the manager for final decision.Requests for time off (RTO) must be finalized at the time of submission.Travelers are expected to work major holidays if they fall within the assignment period.If one or two major holidays fall during the assignment, no holiday RTO can be requested.If three major holidays fall during the assignment, the traveler may request one holiday RTO.Full compliance is required to start on time; non-compliance will result in a two-week pushback due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule.Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers.Candidates are required to have experience with Med/Surg, including use of rapid response teams, and management of peripheral lines.Knowledge of non-invasive airway management and isolation precautions is important.The patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.Daily patient census and number of beds vary based on unit.
