Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an RN - MS for a 20-week, night-shift assignment on a Medical-Surgical unit. The unit handles orthopedic, bariatric, renal and general surgery cases, with a daily census of about 36 and a patient ratio of 6 during night shifts.

Weekend coverage is required every other weekend, with no call. Compliance with onboarding and documentation is essential; travel experience and holiday coverage are expected as described in the posting.

Description:Unit details include various diagnoses such as orthopedic, bariatric, renal, and general surgery, as well as other conditions.Weekend coverage is required every other weekend.There is no call requirement.Travelers may float within the facility as needed.Compliance with onboarding and documentation is required to start on time.If one major holiday falls during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it.If two major holidays occur within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both.If three major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day.A daily census of 36 patients is expected on the unit, which caters to adults and geriatric patients.The unit has interdisciplinary support services.Patient diagnoses vary within the scope of the unit's specialty.The work environment includes a patient ratio of 6 during night shifts.All compliance documents must be submitted by the specified deadline.
