Job summary

The RN - Medical-Surgical/Cardiac Tele position at Cynet HealthStaff is a 13-week assignment in Fargo, ND. It requires a minimum of 2 years in Med-Surg, active RN license, BLS, and NIHSS willingness to obtain if needed. The nurse will assess patients, document care, and administer meds on a 32-bed unit with 4:1 to 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratios.

Shifts are 12-hour nights, weekends, with floating as required. Epic experience preferred; self-scheduling offered with contract-driven time off.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (willing to obtain if necessary)
• BLS certification (must be AHA)
• NIHSS certification (or willing to obtain prior to start)
• Willingness to float to all units/locations as needed
• Experience in a large hospital setting (250+ beds)
• Cardiac experience preferred (but not required)
• Familiarity with EPIC

Description:The position requires a Registered Nurse in a Medical-Surgical Cardiac setting.Nurses will be responsible for assessments, documentation, and completing nursing tasks.Medication administration is a critical duty of this role.The unit features a 32-bed capacity.The nurse-to-patient ratio is 4-5:1 on day shift and 5-6:1 on night shift.Nurses must badge in and out of the facility.Scrub color is navy blue.Nurses will be expected to float to any Medical-Surgical unit as needed.Self-scheduling is permitted, with guaranteed time off based on the contract.Flexibility is required in scheduling, as needs may change.All clinicians are expected to adapt to the needs of the unit.
