Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Medical-Surgical floors in Baton Rouge for a 13-week travel assignment. This night shift position features 12-hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15, with support for post-surgical patients and a typical patient load of six per nurse.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of RN experience, travel experience, and an active license (state or compact). BLS is required; prior charge nurse experience is preferred.

Description:The position requires a registered nurse with a minimum of 2 years of experience.Travel nursing experience is mandatory.Candidates must have previous charge experience, which is preferred but not required.The schedule will be determined by management.All requests for time off must be submitted with the application.The nurse will primarily care for post-surgical patients.Common procedures include bariatric surgeries, colon resections, thyroidectomies, hernia repairs, appendectomies, gallbladder surgeries, and biliary issues.The patient ratio is typically six patients per nurse.The role also involves managing various medical and surgical needs.Candidates must be willing to float within the facility as needed.This position requires an understanding of various patient diagnoses and treatments.Nurses will work in a collaborative environment with interdisciplinary support.Knowledge and skills in surgical care and specialty procedures are essential.
