Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, Pediatrics and Gynecology experience to join our team in Rutherfordton, NC. The contract runs for 13 weeks, with a schedule from 07:00 to 19:00, offering a supportive and collaborative environment focused on high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate holds an NC RN license with at least 2 years in Labor & Delivery; certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE and AWHON fetal monitoring are required,

Qualifications

• Current NC RN license.
• ≥2 years Labor & Delivery experience, charge experience preferred.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE, AWHON fetal monitoring certifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage and care for patients during labor and delivery.
• Provide postpartum care for mothers and newborns.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop patient care plans.
• Monitor patient vital signs and fetal heart rates.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn care.
• Execute clinical tasks and administer medications as prescribed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN licensure in North Carolina.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery with Charge experience preferred.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE, AWHON Fetal Monitoring.
